This Local Authority based in Romford is looking for a Commercial Property Locum to join their busy legal team. You should have extensive experience of complex commercial property work to include Development Agreements and Conditional Contracts and landlord and tenant law.

To work on the following types of matters:

Building/Development agreements and leases
Conditional Contracts subject to planning permission
Sales of land including Auction
Preparation of new commercial leases and lease renewals
Lease assignments, variation and surrenders
General Property advice to other departments of the Council

The placement will be reporting to Legal Services but working closely with the Council?s surveyors. This is an indefinite position and candidates must be available at short notice.

We would expect a lawyer with with the given PQE to have gained the level of experience required, but this does not preclude applications from those with more or less PQE.
