Excellent opportunity within this US Investment Bank based in the heart of the City. The role requires a paralegal with good experience of either financial services or contracts. The duties will be:

To prepare initial drafts of contractual documents based on standard legal agreements, receiving and responding to comments and queries from clients about such agreements and to negotiate and agree amendments with reference to approved changes and involving colleagues and the legal department for non routine amendments.
? To comment on documentation presented by clients in respect of operational issues and to amend/redraft as necessary.
? To provide advice with respect to the processing of Unit Trust Applications on behalf of customers, including authority for third party dealing and AML/KYC compliance.

? To provide general ?business as usual? support and cover for senior team members.
? To provide support and cover for other team members in respect of approval for opening accounts and lodgement of original documentation and mandates.
? To undertake and participate in Risk Management led Projects and Procedure Reviews relating to Customers, Documentation, Accounts and Operations.

We would expect a lawyer with with the given PQE to have gained the level of experience required, but this does not preclude applications from those with more or less PQE.
