This is an excellent opportunity to join the financial markets arm of this large pan European banking organisation. Interested applicants should have experience of financial products, from either an in house or banking environment
Working as part of the Structured Products team, the responsibility of this position is to work closely with the business to provide a high quality, cost effective documentation and negotiation service for the company. Specifically, the role will provide expertise of ISDA & CSA agreements and related transactions across different counterparty types and be part of the front and/or middle offices with a dotted reporting line to Legal (on a day to day basis, via the derivative Specialist Lawyer).
The daily duties will include as follows:
Responsible for the delivery of a high quality efficient documentation and negotiation service.
Possess the ability to consider, understand and resolve low risk issues, seeking support from Legal or the relevant business area on more complex issues.
Ensure delivery of documentation to time and quality.
Provide support to DSP business managers.
Maintain effective ongoing dialogue with relevant business areas within Legal by opening and maintaining appropriate channels of communication.
Support the structured products front office by providing relevant and appropriate MI.
Undertake all counterparty negotiations, using standard documentation and liaising with AFM Legal and relevant business areas where necessary.
Continually and pro actively seek information regarding business needs in an increasingly complex and demanding environment
