Job Title: Paralegal-Life Insurance/Financial Salary: Based On E / Yearly
Location: New York, NY Type: Full-Time

Description:

Will provide paralegal support to a life settlement company and wholly owned subsidiary of one of the largest well known financial institutions in the world. Candidate will be primarily responsible for reviewing all closing documents for life settlement transactions and with following up with counterparties, insurance carriers, brokers and other parties involved in the transaction. Candidate will also assist in due diligence and background checks of intermediaries involved in the transaction. Candidate will be expected to raise issues with legal, compliance and management. Ideal candidate will have strong analytical, organizational, and verbal skills and be highly motivated. Experience with life insurance policies or life settlements is advantageous. Significant opportunity for growth as the business develops.

Requirements:
?Bachelor's degree
?Minimum of two years' paralegal experience.
?Experience with life insurance policies or life settlements a plus
