Description:

Milwaukee office seeks a technical writer to join the department of paralegals. The candidate will create and edit technical content, written specifications and other technical documentation in accordance with procedures, guidelines and instructions for the IP practice group. This process will involve analyzing and interpreting complex and diverse information; gathering and researching technical information; coordinating with vendors on the lay out drawings, graphical images, flow charts and diagrams to be included in documentation and editing and proofreading work product. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science is required. Course work emphasis in the areas of software and computer engineering, power systems or power electronics and radio frequency technologies or communications is preferred. An understanding of mechanical technologies is required. Experience using word processing software is needed. Previous technical writing experience is a plus.
