This is an ideal position for a paralegal looking to get into a corporate environment and participate in government and commercial proposals.

SaviLinx is hiring a motivated Business Development Specialist to join our fast-growing company's Business Development team. You will research and evaluate commercial and government opportunities and generate proposals that communicate our brand and offerings.

You are organized, efficient, detail oriented, and willing to do what it takes to meet deadlines. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can write everything from concise descriptions to 20-page narratives, and are comfortable staying on top of all contributors to ensure they deliver on time.

Under the direction of the Director of Business Development, this role will be responsible for:

- Conducting market research to identify new business development opportunities, including monitoring a variety of databases and government agency websites.

- Working as part of the Business Development team to evaluate RFPs to identify scope and requirements and determine proposal approach.

- Creating and enforcing a schedule to ensure timely response to all opportunities, including working with people within and without the company.

- Writing proposal text and checking for compliance.

- Updating and maintaining the contract and proposal library.

- Discovering relevant contacts and maintaining a CRM data base.

- Writing and distributing agendas and briefing documents for internal and external business development meetings; taking notes and capturing action items.

- Tracking submitted proposals.

Requirements:
- Paralegal or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- A minimum of four years of professional experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) and with CRM software.
- High degree of skill in navigating websites and online databases.
- Experience with GSA Schedule or government contracting strongly preferred.
