Stone Law Offices is a boutique firm specializing in estate and business planning. We provide legal advice, counsel, and services to affluent clients through Las Vegas and the surrounding communities. We take a holistic or whole-person approach to our clients estate and business planning. We are searching for a paralegal/legal assistant to join our estate planning team.

About Us
Our culture is very family oriented, and the staff is close-knit. We work well together and pitch in to help each other when needed. We have periodic outings together, celebrate birthdays, and get together around the holidays. Our firm does not have a high stress environment. We believe in work/life balance and overtime is extremely rare. We want you to leave the office at night knowing that your day is done. We dont want you checking emails in your off time but encourage you to spend time with family and friends.
Our hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday with lunch from 12 1.
Our ideal candidate for this position has 2-3 years of experience in estate planning. You have excellent attention to detail, communication skills both verbal and written are exceptional, and work well independently as well as part of a team. You are also friendly and professional and make people feel comfortable and valued.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Extensive client contact handling all client calls, questions, and inquiries
Following up with clients on missing our outstanding drafting items
Inputting raw client data into document creation program and preparing/proofing initial drafts of estate planning documents for attorney review
Revising documents after attorney review
Maintaining work in progress spreadsheet
Gathering, reviewing, and organizing data regarding clients beneficiaries, trustees, agents, other representatives
Sending and tracking correspondence related to estate planning process to clients, advisors, and financial institutions
Providing client and/or successor trustees with original documents
Serving as witness/notary public as required
Experience & Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years experience with estate planning documents preferred.
BS/BA degree or Associates degree with legal assistant/paralegal certification
Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel Outlook (or similar email system) and internet searches
Experience with Zola Suites, Amicus Attorney, Time Matters, PCLaw, or other similar legal database/client management software is preferred but not required
Possesses a strong work ethic
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Open-minded to new systems or skill sets
Salary is commensurate with experience.
