Probate and Trust Administration Paralegal

Thousand Oaks estate planning firm in Ventura County seeks a paralegal who has extensive experienced in trust and probate administration to join our team. You must be detail oriented and able to handle these matters with little supervision. You must be professional, knowledgeable, organized, and self-starting. You must have at least five years experience.

Primary duties include:

Manage Trust Administration and Probate matters
Draft petitions, Judicial Council forms and other pleadings on above matters
Prepare Asset Allocations, Inventories and Accountings
Prepare and serve government/agency notices
Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and court clerks/officers
Draft other legal documents and correspondence
Your qualifications:

Experience preparing accountings
Law firm experience
Team player with independent resourcefulness and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
Strong grammar, communication and organizational skills
Computer competency and knowledge of WealthCounsel, Clio, Lawmatics, Word and Excel
Certified Notary Public is a plus
